Are The Phlebotomist skilled and trained?

Yes. Each phlebotomist is required to be certified with a minimum of 2 yrs of experience to be a team phlebotomist.

how good are the Phlebotomist at blood draws?

The blood draw success rate for our phlebotomist is 99% first attempt leaving that 1% for the possibility for a second attempt. We would like for each blood draw to be 100% successful however, some veins are more difficult than others. We recommend drinking plenty of water the day before and day of your appointment to hydrate your body for a successful blood draw experience. HYDRATE FOR A BETTER SUCCESS RATE!!

what is the service cost?

Price will vary depending on location and service request. Our service fee includes; travel, draw fee, specimen(s) processing, laboratory drop off and/or shipment.

Do You accept Insurance?

Phlebotomy Genie Mobile Service is a private pay service. We do not accept insurance for our service fee. Our mobile service fee is an out-of-pocket expense to the patient. However you may submit to insurance for reimbursement. There is no guarantee a reimbursement will be issued. We will need to obtain a copy of your insurance card to submit along with your specimen(s) to the resulting laboratory. The resulting laboratory will then bill your insurance for payment. If you do not have insurance you can order and pay for your own labs by visiting our website at www.ultalabtests.com/thephlebotomygenie. No Doctor's Order Required!!
 

where do you send the sample(s)?

Sample(s) are delivered and/or shipped to the laboratory your ordering provider request. However, labs ordered through our online self-pay portal will be sent and resulted by Quest Diagnostics. For billing purposes it is the responsibility of the patient to make sure their insurance is in-network with the resulting laboratory.
 

who receives my Test(s) results?

Test(s) results are sent directly to the ordering provider listed on your lab order from the resulting laboratory. For test results contact your doctor's office or ordering provider.
 

payments and processing?

Payments must be made before services are rendered. Payments are made using our payment processing link Powered by Square, Inc sent to you via email or text. We also offer in person touch pay for your convenience and may be required if payment has not been received upon our technician arrival.  We Accept: Credit & Debit cards,and HSA & FSA flex spending cards. Note: Please contact your insurance provider to confirm Flex Spending can be used for laboratory services such as; draw fees, service fees, lab tests...etc  Cash or Checks Not Accepted!!
 

do you accept same day appointments?

Our goal is to provide an effective and efficient service to the healthcare community. Therefore, same-day appointments are currently unavailable. We know how important it is to have your lab work done, this is why we encourage you to book online 24-48hrs in advance to reserve your priority slot. All STAT blood draws must be requested by the ordering Provider. Please Note: The resulting laboratory determines what labs are Stat not The Phlebotomy Genie Mobile Service.

You will receive a confirmation via email of your scheduled appointment

will i receive an appointment confirmation before arrival?

Yes, you will receive a same-day confirmation email with your booking details. You will also receive a 24 hr reminder email prior to your scheduled appointment. The day of your appointment you will receive a text or call 30 minutes before your appointment from your technician to notify you that they are en route to you. If for any reason you need to change or cancel your appointment please call or text (919) 438-1482 24 hr in advance. Same day cancellation and no show appointments (patient not home) or if our technician arrive for your appointment and you cancel or reschedule will result in an additional service fee to return.
 

What if i have a PET(s)?

We understand the love we have for our pets but for the safety of our technicians, we ask that all pets are safely put away until our technician exits. Non compliance to our pet safety your appointment will immediately be canceled!!
